Cluck Cluck

I am chickening out. Cluck Cluck. I am too embarrassed to go to church. Okay.

I think this may have to do with my birthday in about two monthes. I just realized I am reaching middle age and it has me depressed. Okay so my mental age is five years old, but I do not want to be Stella getting my groove back.

I am still knitting slow and trying not make mistakes at my job. I do feel like I am meeting people and slowly forming friendships. I just feel so transitional now. Hmmm! maybe I need to figure out my mid-life crisis. and it is not a guy. I have plenty of yarn. Don't think I need a new car. Maybe going blonde or red??? Any good ideas?

P.S. Yes I am pmsing and missing friends.

P.P.S. I still punt bunnies. SQUEAK! Especially ones that pee.

Poll Time

Okay my faithful friends: poll time!!

If a guy (who I believe is not married i.e. no ring and think is single) asks me whether or not I have found a new church and then asks me to consider visiting his church, is this a date or someone considered about my soul?

Oh yeah! He might be 10 years younger than me, but he is tall with a southern Albama drawl!! Not bad looking either.

Let's hear those comments and please discuss at Thursday night knitting group. Curious minds want to know!!

P.S. I still punt bunnies-Nell!

Chilling

Well, I have been really kind of chilling this past week and really have not had anything to write. Work is busy and going well. Apartment is doing okay. I do hate to clean, but I am trying.

Some news: I woke up Friday morning to find that one of my nosepads for my glasses was missing. The screw had worked loose. So Friday afternoon, I went to Lenscrafters. I had my first eye exam in about five years. I purchased new glasses and sunglasses. Digital camera, Kitchenaid mixer, and good cutlery knives will have to wait.

I also made another exciting purchase. On Saturday at knitting group, a lady mentioned this knitting bag that she purchased from a shop down the road. Another lady and I went to this shop. The bags were awesome. I purchased one. It has leather straps, sides and bottom. The front and back are made from tapestry. Mine is a tan tapestry with different shades to display the pattern. I really like it. The inside is lined with pockets. I can definitely fit a huge project into this bag.

I am still knitting on the Dale vest. I am trying to cast on for a sock from the Socks that Rock yarn, which was a Christmas gift from William. I hope to make more progress this week.

My Christmas tree has been broken down. I still have some papers to organize.

Oh for those who thought I was going a little overboard about the family situation. The last two phone calls to my mother have not been pleasant. She is full of negativity. I went through a little counseling at the end of my marriage. I think everyone should talk with someone. A minister or a couselor. I believe it helps.
